Terms of Service
Effective date: April 21, 2025
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of iDeedit (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Content and Data
You own the content and data you create in iDeedit — your deeds, logs, notes, and any other information you enter. You grant us a limited license to store and process that data for the sole purpose of providing the Service to you.
You can export your data at any time in standard formats (CSV, JSON) and delete your account at any time. On deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our systems.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
iDeedit offers a free tier and optional paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis as described at the time of purchase. All payments are processed by Stripe.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to paid features continues until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
- Lifetime plans: Lifetime access means access for as long as the Service operates. It is not a guarantee of perpetual operation.
- Price changes: We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers. You may cancel before the new price takes effect.
- Taxes: Prices do not include applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout depending on your location.
4. AI Smart Setup
The AI Smart Setup feature sends the text you provide to a third-party AI service (Anthropic) to generate deed configuration suggestions. AI suggestions are a convenience feature and may not always be accurate. You remain responsible for reviewing and confirming any configuration before saving it.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
- Reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works of the Service
- Use automated tools to scrape, overload, or stress-test the Service
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Intellectual Property
The iDeedit name, logo, and Service (excluding your data) are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use our trademarks, branding, or Service components without our written permission. Your data and content remain yours.
7. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.
iDeedit is a personal tracking tool, not a medical device or clinical service. Do not use it as a substitute for professional medical, mental health, or addiction treatment advice.
8. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete Account in the iDeedit mobile app. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice where possible. On termination, your right to use the Service ends and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by emailing registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which the Service operator is located, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to binding arbitration or small claims court as appropriate.
